BTIG Hires Senior Aussie Traders

BTIG, broker-dealer to the alternatives industry, has expanded its global trading team with hires in Australia and the United States.

BTIF Australia has tapped Leo Borovilas and Andrew Best as a senior traders on the institutional sales desk.

Borovilas has 20 years’ experience in the finance industry, having held senior positions at Austock Securities, Bell Potter and JP Morgan. He’s worked across Asia Pacific, U.S. and UK markets.

Best, with 17 years’ trading experience, has held management positions at JP Morgan Securities, Citigroup Global Markets and Macquarie Equities.
