Soros Ex Slapped Back In Jail On Drug Charges

Dec 14 2011 | 3:48am ET

One of George Soros’ ex-girlfriends will spend the holidays in a New York City jail after she was accused of slapping a person.

Anna Malova, former Miss Russia and Miss Universe finalist, was sent back to Rikers Island earlier this month after another patient at a Bronx drug rehabilitation facility took out an order of protection against her. The other patient said Malova slapped her.

The order of protection is still pending, making it impossible for Malova to return to the facility. So a judge ordered her held at Rikers at least until Jan. 3, her next court appearance.

Malova was sent to the rehab facility after she was indicted for stealing prescription sheets from two psychiatrists and then forging prescriptions for painkillers. The rehab was part of a no-jail, no-deportation deal she struck with prosecutors.
