Ex-Synapse Credit Analyst Jenkins Out At Broker Evolution

Dec 15 2011 | 1:10pm ET

Former Synapse Investment Management analyst Gary Jenkins, author of one of the most widely-read morning market roundups in London, left broker Evolution Securities this week.

Jenkins’ departure came just one day before Evolution’s acquisition by Investec closed. The merger of Evolution with Investec’s own London banking operation is expected to cost at least 100 people their jobs, Financial News reports.

Jenkins joined Evolution as head of fixed-income in 2008, returning to the sell-side after his stint at Synapse.
