Merrill Lynch’s head of equity syndication is taking his capital-raising expertise to hedge fund Polygon Investment Management.
Mark Gwynne joined the $4.5 billion London-based fund—which raised some US$300 million in an Amsterdam listing in April—as an equity capital markets banker last week, Financial News reports. He had led Merrill’s syndicate for two years.
