Black Diamond Adds Och-Ziff Portfolio Manager

Black Diamond Capital Management has hired a former Och-Ziff Capital Management portfolio manager to help lead its hedge fund platform.

Kenneth Rubin was named a senior managing director and portfolio manager at the $10 billion Greenwich, Conn.-based firm. He'll head up Black Diamond's hedge fund platform alongside managing principal Stephen Deckoff.

A lawyer by trade, Rubin managed U.S. corporate credit assets at Och-Ziff, which he joined from Cerberus Capital Management. At Cerberus, he focused on stressed and distressed investing.
