Littlejohn Promotes Miranda To Managing Director

Greenwich, Conn.-based private equity firm Littlejohn & Co. has promoted Antonio Miranda from principal to managing director.

"Since joining Littlejohn in 2004, Tony has assumed increasing responsibilities and has demonstrated his ability to build value and work effectively with management teams at our portfolio companies. We are pleased to recognize his talent and contributions to the firm with this promotion," said Michael Klein, CEO of Littlejohn, in a statement.

Prior to his arrival at Littlejohn, Miranda served as an associate at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Inc. where he evaluated, structured, and monitored private equity investments. He was also a financial analyst at JPMorgan & Co. in their investment banking division.

Littlejohn specializes in private equity and distressed securities, focusing on middle-market companies undergoing fundamental changes in capital structure, strategy, operations or growth. The firm is currently investing from Littlejohn Fund IV which has over $1.3 billion in capital commitments.
