Coatue's Rangwalla To Launch Own Hedge Fund

Feb 8 2012 | 12:56pm ET

After five years at Coatue Management, Jaimin Rangwalla is striking out on his own.

Rangwalla left the New York-based firm yesterday. He told HFMWeek that he and another investment professional were raising money for a long/short hedge fund.

The new fund is expected to debut at the end of the third quarter, although Rangwalla offered no other details—not even the name of his partner.
