Hedge fund administrator LaSalle Global Fund Services is opening a new office in Jersey and has hired managing director Michael Rothwell from INVESCO International to head it.

LaSalle has also appointed Stefan McGreevy as a director of its Jersey operation. McGreevy joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers Jersey, where he was a senior audit manager.

"By opening our operation in Jersey, LaSalle Global Fund Services is demonstrating that it is meeting the expectations of the alternative investment industry here,” Morgan Downey, managing director of LaSalle Global Fund Services in Europe, said.

LaSalle, which launched in Chicago earlier this year, plans to launch operations in Asia later in 2007.
