Weston Takes Root With White Oak Partners

Fund of funds shop Weston Capital Asset Management has taken an undisclosed stake in emerging hedge fund manager White Oak Partners, a San Francisco-based debt-focused shop, via its second incubator fund, Weston Capital Partners Master Fund II.

White Oak manages the White Oak Structured Fund, a multi-strategy high-yield debt hedge fund that that aims to invest dynamically across the debt capital structure, and seeking opportunities that have limited correlation to traditional bond indices, according to fund documents.

White Oak was founded by Andre Hakkak, Ken Masters and Barbara McKee.

“We look forward to implementing a robust investment program based on our shared vision and values with Weston Capital,” said McKee.
