Rothstein Kass Adds HC Associates Team

New Jersey-based financial services group Rothstein Kass has added the HC Associates team to its business advisory services group.

Edward R. Tedeschi, HC founder and CEO, and Carl J. Versella, president and CEO, have joined Rothstein Kass as principals and will continue to provide consulting services to clients including hedge funds, fund of funds, institutional investors, family offices, asset managers, banks and broker dealers.

Tedeschi founded HC in San Francisco in 2002. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer for Genesis Merchant Group and before relocating to San Francisco in 1993, he held several senior positions at Morgan Stanley. His began his career in 1979 with Goldman Sachs.

Versella joined HC in 2005 and opened its New Jersey office. He has 30 years of related experience including senior positions at Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and Tiger Management. Versella also began his career at Goldman Sachs.

The addition of the HC team continues the nationwide expansion of Rothstein Kass’ advisory practice and services.
