HSBC's hedge fund administration business said today that it had snared a BNP Paribas sales manager to head its alternatives sales and business development effort in the U.K.
Geoff Pullen had been a senior sales manager at BNP. He formerly worked in prime brokerage at Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers.
"We are pleased to welcome Geoff into this newly-created strategic role," new boss Tony McDonnell, who heads alternatives sales and business development for Europe at HSBC Securities Services, said. "Geoff will be instrumental in continuing to build our alternatives franchise in the U.K."
