Credit hedge fund Oak Hill Advisors has named William Bohnsack its president.

Bohnsack has been with the New York-based firm for two decades, most recently as chief operating officer, a post he's held since 2001. Bohnsack has also been a senior partner at the firm since 2005.

In his new role, Bohnsack will see his remit expanding to firm management, business development and strategic initiatives.

"Bill has been an outstanding partner and contributor to OHA's success for the past 19 years," CEO Glenn August said. "His deep investment experience, understanding of credit markets and broad set of investor relationships make him ideally positioned to take on this role."
