Kaufman Rossin Opens Dallas Office

Apr 10 2012 | 7:52am ET

Hedge fund administrator Kaufman Rossin Fund Services has opened an office in Dallas to support the firm’s growing Southwest client base.

Industry veteran James Davis, most recently senior vice president of Jefferies & Co.’s prime brokerage division in Dallas, will head the new KRFS office. Prior to his position at Jefferies, Davis served as CFO of a Texas-based hedge fund.

The new office will provide a wide range of services, including accounting, valuation, middle and back office outsourcing, investor services, treasury and tax services.

"Better serving the needs of our clients located in Texas and the Southwest is the primary reason for our expansion," said Jorge R. de Cardenas, co-founder and director of KRFS. “Our physical presence along with the experience and leadership of James Davis reinforces our commitment to serve this leading alternative investment community.”
