UBS has hired a Goldman Sachs hedge-fund sales executive to boost its own hedge fund relationships.

Scott Molin was named a managing director in UBS' senior relationship-management team in the Americas. He'll cover the bank's hedge fund clients, UBS said in an internal memo.

Molin was co-head of cross-assets sales to hedge funds at Goldman Sachs, having joined the firm a dozen years ago. He also formerly worked at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette for a decade.
