Morgan Stanley's Fitzgerald To JPMorgan Prime Brokerage

JPMorgan Chase has hired Morgan Stanley's former U.S. prime brokerage sales chief to boost its own sales effort.

Michael Fitzgerald was named a managing director and senior member of JPMorgan's North American prime brokerage business. "Adding Mike to our team is another way we are continuing to deepen our existing client relationships globally while cultivating new ones," Lou Lebedin and Jeff Bosland, respectively global head of prime brokerage and head of Americas equity sales and marketing, wrote in an internal memorandum.

Fitzgerald starts at JPMorgan in May. He left Morgan Stanley in January.
