Signia Adds Alts. Exec. Patel

Signia Wealth has named Ameet Patel head of alternative investments.

Patel, who joins the firm from AlphaOne Partners, where he also headed alternatives, is charged with boosting Signia's hedge fund investments on behalf of clients. He will be based in London.

Patel worked at Lehman Brothers as a telecommunications analyst prior to joining AlphaOne.

"Ameet has an exceptional track record in managing ultra high net worth client accounts in the hedge fund space," Signia CEO Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe said. "His extensive and varied experience across the alternative investments industry will help us to further develop our capabilities and breadth of expertise in this important area."
