Stonebrook Capital Management has hired Paul Freilich as its general counsel. In the newly-created position, Freilich will be responsible for all matters relating to legal and compliance issues and will work closely with Darryl Thompson, firm president.

Freilich most recently served as a managing director for structured products at Pali Capital, where he was responsible for the creation, marketing and execution of structured investment strategies.  Prior to Pali Capital, he was an executive director at UBS Warburg where he was responsible for the creation and marketing of various equity derivatives strategies.

"Paul brings a solid legal background with the added ability to help develop structured investments as we look to diversify our Alternative Beta product roster," said Thompson.
