Brevan LatAm Strategist Out, Emerging Markets Trader In

Brevan Howard Asset Management's top strategist for Latin America has left the hedge fund.

Mario Mesquita had run Brevan's office in São Paulo, Brazil. He is a former director of that country's central bank.

Meanwhile, the London-based hedge fund has hired Jose Oswaldo Monforte to serve as an emerging market trader this month, Bloomberg News reports. Monforte most recently worked at Banco BTG Pactual.
