Jun 7 2012 | 9:48am ET

Hedge fund servicer Conifer Group has laid off at least four employees.

The San Francisco-based firm let go Alice Sun, Ian Heim, Dave Van Dollen and Elisabeth MacKnight, HFMWeek reports. Sun was an accountant, Heim a prime brokerage account representative and Van Dollen a client services representative.

MacKnight, a 10-year veteran of the firm, worked on special projects after stints in fund administrator and accounting. On the other end of the spectrum, Van Dollen joined Conifer just over a year ago.
