Law firm Schulte Roth & Zabel has hired James “Jim” McNally as a partner in its London office.
McNally, who will be based in London, follows his former Dewey & LeBoeuf global private equity team leader Joseph Smith, who joined SRZ in New York in May 2012. McNally provides advice on corporate transactional and private equity fund matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, fund formation and financings. McNally trained at magic circle firm Slaughter and May.
"We are pleased that Jim will continue to serve our European-based clients on partnership and transactional matters. SRZ is getting a highly talented lawyer, and his inclusion on the SRZ investment fund platform in London will help our European practice grow," said Smith.
Schulte Roth & Zabel is a full-service law firm with offices in London, New York and Washington, D.C. It is involved in all aspects of the private equity business.
