BlackRock has a new alternatives head Down Under.
Andrew Landman will oversee the world’s largest asset manager’s Australian alternatives business, it said. He’s charged will strengthening its capabilities in that region.
Landman joins BlackRock from Ascalon Capital, where he was CEO.

As many of you know, FINalternatives was recently acquired by the owners of Futures magazine, a firm called The Alpha Pages LLC. Today marks the soft-launch of a new sister site for both publications.
