Winton Capital Management has hired a veteran securities lawyer to serve as its first head of legal.
Brigid Rentoul will handle all legal matters at the London-based US$22 billion hedge fund, working alongside Andrew Bastow, Winton's general counsel and head of government and regulatory affairs.
Rentoul spent 20 years at Linklaters, most recently as an equity capital markets partner.
