Hedge Funds See Net Outflows In July

Jul 11 2012 | 8:23am ET

The GlobeOp Capital Movement Index registered a negative 1.17% in July, meaning outflows exceeded inflows for the month.

GlobeOp CEO Hans Hufschmid said the July flows “reflected quarterly re-allocations by investors" and were “very much in line with prior quarter ends.”

The GlobeOp Capital Movement Index represents the monthly net of hedge fund subscriptions and redemptions administered by GlobeOp divided by their total assets under administration.
