New Entrepreneur Fund Has German Accent

Jul 23 2012 | 11:59am ET

Entrepreneur Capital has launched a second long/short equity hedge fund, expanding its focus from Switzerland to a wider selection of German-speaking countries.

The Trias L/S fund invests in liquid German, Austrian and Swiss stocks and is available on Entrepreneur's platform. Trias employs macroeconomic and fundamental analysis to invest in event-driven, momentum and value opportunities.

The new fund, like the existing Tavau Swiss Fund, which invests exclusively in Swiss stocks, offers daily liquidity, targeting annual volatility of 12%, HedgeWeek reports. It is managed by Kilian Kentrup, who recently joined Entrepreneur from RBR Capital, where he was co-portfolio manager of the Rhine Alpha Funds.
