Wood Creek Appoints New CFO

Glenn Pease has joined Wood Creek Capital Management as chief financial officer.

Pease joins the firm from The Phoenix Companies, where for more than 22 years he held a series of senior financial management positions, including most recently vice president of the asset management division . 

Prior to Phoenix, he worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young.

”Hiring Glenn was certainly a strategic investment for Wood Creek,” said CEO Brett Hellerman.  “Our growth in the alternative alternatives investment market is exploding and I am confident that Glenn will help maintain our momentum.”

New Haven, Conn.-based Wood Creek Capital Management is a joint venture of Norfolk Management Group and Babson Capital Management, and was established to develop and invest in niche and emerging alternative strategies, with a primary focus on non-financial security based strategies.
