Peregrine Quits Hedge Fund Consulting

South African alternative investments firm Peregrine Holdings will close its hedge fund consulting business.

The firm blamed macro drivers for its decision to get out of the consulting business, Opalesque reports. Managing director Leila Lederman said Peregrine Portfolio Innovation would stop circulating performance updates for its clients at the end of next month.

Portfolio Innovation offered investment solutions for investors.
