CQS Hires Ex-SAC Manager

CQS has added a former SAC Capital Advisors trader to its long/short equities team.

David Morant left SAC in September and was out of the industry until joining CQS, Financial News reports. Morant acutally had two stints at SAC, joining its London office in 2004 only the be laid off four years later. SAC rehired him a year after that, in September 2009.

Prior to joining SAC the first time, Morant worked at JPMorgan Chase and Soros Fund Management.
