The IMS Group, a UK-based compliance consultancy, has tapped director and board member Stephen Burke as managing director EMEA.

Burke replaces Alan Leale-Green, managing director of IMS' UK office, who will continue to advise IMS on a part-time project basis.

Burke was previously responsible for overseeing the integration of four recent IMS acquisitions, including MMS Regulatory Solutions, founded by Green, and HedgeOp Compliance.

Said IMS CEO Michel van Leeuwen in a statement: “We are very grateful to Alan for his contribution to the group during the last 18 months, a period where we have seen the size of our UK office double. We look forward to still being able to offer his considerable skillset and expertise to new and existing clients going forward. Stephen’s appointment reflects the continued growth of our rapidly expanding business in the UK.”

The IMS Group provides regulatory compliance consulting to regulated financial services firms worldwide from offices in London, New York, Boston and San Francisco.
