Prince William Attends 100 Women Fundraiser

One of the hedge fund industry's top charities was graced by actual royalty at its London charity gala last night.

Prince William addressed the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Philanthropic Initiatives dinner, lauding its support of one of his favored charities, SkillForce. "At SkillForce, they take under their wing those children and young people who have found it hard to adjust to the disciplined learning environment necessary for a good education," the Duke of Cambridge said. "Through careful and dedicated mentoring, these role models achieve quite astonishing results."

It is the third-straight year that William has graced the 100 Women event, which was held at St. James's Palace, where the prince happens to live. His wife, the former Kate Middleton, was on royal business elsewhere and did not attend.
