Solent Capital has appointed Desmond Dundon and Genia Diamond to support the growth of its hedge fund and collateralized debt obligation businesses.
Dundon joins the firm from Merrill Lynch as CFO for the hedge fund development and management group. Prior to Merrill Lynch, he worked at Bankers Trust as a manager in its derivatives operations unit.
Genia, named investor relations director, was previously marketing director for global equity at hedge fund manager BlueCrest Capital Management. She has also worked as a research analyst and institutional relationship manager at fund of hedge funds Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company.
