Dublin, Ireland-based Carne Global Financial Services Group, an independent investment consultant, has appointed Mary Kane and Teddy Otto to its European Funds Team.
Kane joins Carne as senior consultant, compliance and governance, hedge funds, specializing in compliance, board and fund oversight, as well as specific issues relating to hedge funds. She joins from International Fund Administrators, where she held the role of director of compliance and money laundering reporting officer. In this role she led a team responsible for compliance with anti-money laundering and Irish Stock Exchange regulations, and regulatory reporting for hedge funds domiciled in Ireland and offshore.
Otto joins Carne as senior consultant, risk, operations and governance. Otto joins from Allianz Global Investors, where he was director of operations and product development and an executive director of AGI and its Irish-domiciled UCITS funds.
