Aug 2 2007 | 8:26am ET

JPMorgan Hedge Fund Services has added a pair of executives in Hong Kong in an effort to boost its business in Asia.

Both of the new hires, Andrew Mascall-Robson and Shirley Yuen, join from Fortis Prime Fund Solutions. Mascall-Robson has been named head of business development, in which capacity he will oversee its growth efforts in the region. Yuen will serve as head of account management in Asia.

“This is an important step in the expansion of our Hedge Fund Services business and a strong signal of our intention to become a dominant player in the fund administration space in Asia,” Laurence Bailey, CEO of JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services in Asia, said. “Andrew and Shirley are highly-respected figures with extensive relationships and experience in the market.”

Mascall-Robson was most recently managing director for Fortis in Japan. He has also served as an executive director at WestLB Panmure.

Yuen served in the same capacity at Fortis as she now does at JPMorgan. She is also a KPMG veteran.
