WyeTree Asset Management, a London-based residential mortgage specialist seeded by SkyBridge Capital, has launched its latest fund as an Irish master/feeder structure.

The WyeTree Yield Distribution Fund, launched on December 7 using an Irish qualified investor fund structure, will be managed by a London-based team led by Judith Sciamma. The fund will invest in the mortgage-backed securities and real estate markets using WyeTree’s model-based analysis and research techniques. It will target an annual yield of 4-6% with low volatility.

Wyetree has enlisted the Carne Group, a global governance and oversight firm, to help structure the feeder company and a master unit trust. In addition, Yvonne Connolly, a Carne principal in Dublin, will serve as an independent director on the board of the feeder company.

Established in 2007, WyeTree launched its first fund in 2008 and now has $290 million in assets under management.
