Odey Offers UCITS Fund Helmed By Rezny

Jan 24 2013 | 9:57am ET

Odey Asset Management has launched a new UCITS-compliant hedge fund for the former Griffin Capital Management star trader it nabbed last year.

Markus Rezny will manage the long/short Odey Orion Fund. He'll have the freedom to invest across asset classes and geographies.

Rezny managed a long/short fund, European Opportunities, at Griffin. He joined Odey in April.

The new fund is domiciled in Dublin and has euro, U.S. dollar and pound sterling share classes. It will charge 0.75% for management and 20% for performance, with a £1,000 minimum investment requirement.
