Ex-CQS CIO Joins BlueCrest

BlueCrest Capital Management has added a top former CQS portfolio manager to boost its convertible bonds effort.

Oliver Dobbs joined London-based BlueCrest this month. He'll focus on convertibles at the US$34 billion hedge fund.

Dobbs was most recently chief investment officer of portfolio management at CQS. Prior to joining that hedge fund, he was chief investment officer at Citigroup's Tribeca Global Management hedge fund.
