The former top underwriter at D.E. Shaw Group's reinsurance business has reemerged.
Darren Redhead, formerly chief underwriting officer at D.E. Shaw Re in Bermuda, has joined Lancashire Holdings as head of its newly-launched Lancashire Capital Management unit. Redhead left D.E. Shaw Re three years ago, after three years at the firm.
Before joining D.E. Shaw Re, Redhead worked at Talbot Underwriting.
