Man Names Singh General Counsel

The Man Group has appointed its head of legal to serve as its general counsel, the latest senior move in a shakeup precipitated by new CEO Emmanuel Roman.

Jasveer Singh takes over from Stephen Ross, who recently left the hedge fund. Like Ross, Singh formerly worked at law firm Clifford Chance, following Ross to Man shortly after Ross joined the firm. Singh succeeded Ross at the end of last year.

As general counsel, Singh sits on Man's executive committee.
