Och-Ziff Capital Management founder Daniel Och said last month that he sees "substantial room for growth" in credit. And he's picked the man he wants to oversee that growth.

The New York-based hedge fund has named James Levin head of global credit. A seven-year veteran of the firm, Levin was most recently head of U.S. credit.

Prior to joining Och-Ziff in 2012, Levin worked at Dune Capital Management and Sagamore Hill Capital Management.
