UBS' Richards Joins OTR

UBS has lost at top hedge fund relationship manager.

Bill Richards has left the bank for research and trading firm OTR Global. Richards spent 18 years at UBS, most recently as managing director and senior client relationship manager for hedge funds. At UBS, Richards handled some of the bank's largest clients, OTR said.

Richards, who has three decades' experience with hedge funds, will serve as a senior adviser to OTR's board.

"OTR has an exciting product that adds value to some of the best investors in the world," Richards said. "I look forward to helping the firm expand its client base and increase impact with current clients. This will be my only sell-side relationship."

"We are thrilled to have someone of Bill's caliber and strong ethics joining our firm," CEO Stanton Green said. "Bill's idea dinners over the past decade have been a great source of investing knowledge and that is a tradition that OTR expects to continue."
