The New York State Common Retirement Fund has added to its stakes in two alternative investment funds.

The $152.9 billion public pension fund committed $100 million to Palladium Equity Partners' fourth fund, a low- and mid-market buyout fund, Pensions & Investments reports. The investment follows an earlier $70 million commitment to the firm.

The CRF also added $70 million to Discovery Capital Management's Global Opportunity Partners. The fund previously invested $113.5 million in the fund.
