Bridgewater Associates has added a Bank of America prime brokerage executive to serve as a client adviser.

Michael Terry will help Bridgewater, the world's largest hedge fund, try to grow even larger, as the Westport, Conn.-based firm prepares to launch a new hedge fund this year.

Terry has spent the last two years as global head of capital introductions at BofA, a role he previously filled for North America at Morgan Stanley. A co-founder of Oakpoint Advisors, Terry is also a former fundraiser for FrontPoint Partners.

BofA has not yet picked a successor to Terry, The Wall Street Journal reports.
