Artemis Adds Henderson's Casson

Apr 24 2013 | 10:17am ET

Artemis Investment Management has hired a former star manager at Henderson Global Investors.

Paul Casson will co-manage Artemis' UK Growth Fund and UK Hedge Fund. He will work with current managed Tim Steer, replacing Stephen Yiu, who had left Artemis to return to his native Hong Kong.

"We are very pleased to have attracted someone of Paul's caliber, experience and proven ability," Steer said. "I am sure he will help us continue to deliver outstanding investment performance for our clients."

At Henderson, Casson managed the Horizon Pan European Alpha and HF Pan European Equity funds. He left the firm in January.
