Omaha Pension Picks SSARIS For Fund Of Funds

A Nebraska public pension fund has picked SSARIS Advisors over Private Advisors to handle a fund of hedge funds mandate.

The Omaha Civilian Employees' Retirement System awarded SSARIS a $17 million mandate, Pensions & Investments reports, following invitation-only searches earlier this year. Investment consultant DeMarche Associates assisted in the selection process.

The fund-of-funds allocation is new and will be funded by rebalancing the pension's portfolio.
