International buyout shop Advent International has recruited the first members of its Kiev, Ukraine, team. Tamás Nagy will head the new office and Natalie Polischuk will serve as its principal.
Nagy joined Advent in 2003 and worked on investments and exits in Hungary, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic. Polischuk previously worked at Delta Private Equity Partners in Moscow where she became a partner.
“In the twelve months we have been building our presence in Ukraine, we have seen many good managers, sector markets opening and regulatory infrastructure being put in place,” said Nagy. “With a population of some 50 million, this country has huge potential for building businesses.”
