Opportunity in Latin American Funds

June 25, 2013  |  Greenwich

Institutional and private investors continue to look to Latin America for access to growth opportunities and outperforming hedge fund managers. While this emerging market is not without risk, recent data from eVestment indicates a thriving environment for those that focus on the region:

  •  Hedge funds that invest in Latin America were up 7.29% in 2012 and 1.16% in January 2013
  • Hedge funds investing only in Brazilian markets gained 13.02% in 2012 and 1.83% in January 2013
  • January 2013 saw Latin American fund assets increase by $270 million, including $60 million in net investor inflows

Please join us on Tuesday June 25, 2013 in Greenwich Connecticut for the HFA Symposium: Opportunity in Latin American Funds for the latest regional insights from accomplished experts. Sponsored by the Miami Downtown Development Authority, this HFA LatAm Chapter Symposium is complimentary for all HFA members, investors and managers. Non member service providers may pay $100 but will be waitlisted (will be refunded if no space). Attendees will enjoy an insightful keynote speech and panel discussion, followed by cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and networking.
