Motion Capital Nets $15.9 Million

Hedge fund Motion Capital Partners has raised more than $15 million.

The Houston firm has netted $15.9 million from 20 investors since it opened the fund on June 1, it said in a regulatory filing.

Motion said that the fund would be open to investors for more than one year.
