Hedge Fund Redemptions Rise Slightly In June

Hedge fund redemptions edged up this month, according to data from SS&C Technologies.

The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator rose to 3.88% in June from 3.77% in May. June is the second-straight month that has seen an increase in the indicator, which measures forward redemption notices received by hedge fund administered by SS&C's GlobeOp platform.

"The indicator increased slightly for the month of June and is comprised primarily of typical semi-annual redemption activity," SS&C CEO Bill Stone said.
