A top Nomura Holdings trader is to join hedge fund Millennium Management.
Nicholas Wells is bringing two colleagues with him to the $18.2 billion hedge fund, Bloomberg News reports. He was head of equities program trading at Nomura, but his registration with British regulators has been inactive for two weeks.
Wells has worked at Nomura since it acquired Lehman Brothers' European business. The algorithmic trader had been at Lehman since 2001.
