ConvergEx Prime Services Taps Pearce To Oversee Midwest Growth

ConvergEx Group, a provider of global brokerage and trading-related services, has named Gregory B. Pearce to oversee the Midwestern expansion of its Prime Services business.

Pearce brings over 15 years of sales and capital raising experience to his new post. Prior to joining ConvergEx, he was a managing director at Continental Advisors. Before that, he worked with the institutional sales groups at Susquehanna Financial Group and Sanford C. Bernstein.

Pearce, who has been named senior vice president of sales, will be based in Chicago.

“We are very glad to add Greg to the team. We have seen a great deal of recent growth in our Midwest operations and Greg’s in-depth industry knowledge and proven track record raising capital for hedge funds will be invaluable to our expanding client base,” said Douglas M. Nelson, chief executive officer of ConvergEx Prime Services.
