Aug 14 2013 | 9:28am ET

Hermes BPK Partners and Northern Lights Capital Group have picked the second beneficiary of their new hedge-fund seeding joint venture.

New York-based Altalis Capital Partners joins Taurasi Capital Management in the Accelerator Fund's stable. Founded by Taconic Capital Advisors' former co-heads of North American equity, Samuel Elder and Adam Fox, Altalis is a value-oriented long/short equity shop.

It is unclear how much Accelerator invested with Altalis, but the firm's assets under management are now about $150 million, Hermes BPK and Northern Lights said in a statement.
